I landed in Mexico City at 10pm on a Thursday night. And if there is one way to distract yourself from the aftermath of an 11.5 hour flight it would be to step into the lobby of the Four Seasons Mexico City.
The lobby was low lit, elegant, inviting and sophisticated. There was an abundance of florals and leather. The check in process was seamless and my bags made their way to my room quicker than I could.
This was my second time staying at one of The Four Seasons Hotels, and the customer service is top notch around the world. The staff delivering my room service (chicken tacos with chips and guac) offered suggestions of things to see inside the hotel (it’s that big), the waitress took note on what table I preferred at breakfast and the late check out was much appreciated.
The hotel itself was one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in. The Four Seasons Mexico City features eight floors, a pool, spa, multiple restaurants, high end retail stores, several bars and an incredible courtyard with lush gardens. My room looked out to the courtyard down below.
And then there’s breakfast. You have the choice of a full buffet or a meal from the menu. I went for the buffet and enjoyed a beautiful display of fruit and cereals, fresh juices, pastries, pancakes, waffles and hot food. I may have gone back for third’s one morning.
The Four Seasons Mexico City is definitely up there in my Top 5 Hotels.
